As usual, we at Luxrest Venice wish to provide our guests with the latest and official information concerning travelling to Venice, Italy. After a few months where we could follow the same rules, we have an update now which will concern all of our guests staying at our apartments.

Dear guests and future guests at Luxrest Venice, we keep on following the rules applying for travellers entering Venice Italy from abroad, so here are the latest news:

From the 31st August to the 25th October 2021 the requirements to enter Italy differ according to the country where you stayed in the 14 days preceding your travel to Italy.

Rules about the covid-19 pandemic change quite frequently and we at Luxrest Venice prefer to wait a few days before announcing new rules, so that we can take the time to verify and provide a correct information to our guests.

It's now official that, starting from the 6th August 2021, the Green Pass will be required in Italy to access:

Starting from the 7th June 2021, the Veneto region will be a white zone in Italy (together with Liguria, Abruzzo, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Molise). What does this mean? It's very simple: the only rules to strictly follow concerning the covid-19 pandemic will be wearing a mask, social distancing and hand sanitation.

We're very pleased to announce that the Italian Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, just signed the ordinance which eliminates the quarantine for travellers entering Italy from EU countries! Moreover, Venice is now part of the airports allowed to Covid-free flights (the list now includes Milan, Rome, Venice and Naples). Covid-free flights will now operate to these 4 Italian airports from the USA, Canada, Japan and the United Arab Emirates.

Since the last 10 years or so, we have all learned to use several websites, platforms or portals to do our shopping, book our flights, holidays, find travel-mates, taxis... Every side of our daily life can benefit of apps or websites providing products or services that we need. We can access them 365 days per year, 24 hours a day, from any location, provided that we have an internet connection.

An outdoor season awaits us in Venice!

We're now ready to announce the good news we were all waiting for: the reopening plan in Italy and Venice!

The Italian government announced yesterday how the reopenings are going to work, and we at Luxrest Venice are ready to summarize the main points for you:

April brings again new rules for travellers, residents of Venice and all those who need to stay in Venice, we at Luxrest Venice, as usual, always check the latest official news and update our blog accordingly.

What you need to know about the evolution of the covid-19 pandemic in Venice and the Veneto region and the national and local rules for residents, travellers and visitors in March 2021
