White zone in Venice and rules until the 31st July 2021

Venice has been in white zone since the 7th June 2021, as mentioned in a previous post. These are the main points regarding daily and social life:

bars and restaurants can receive customers indoor and outdoor, with a limit of 6 persons per table when indoor;

museums, shops, gyms, outdoor pools, cinemas and theatres are open;

wedding ceremonies and parties are allowed (guests need to be vaccinated or tested 48h before the event);

curfew is in place until midnight until the 21st June, then it will be removed;

travelling between white and yellow regions is always possible;

wearing mask, 1 mt social distancing and hand hygenisation remain in place.

What if you're arriving to Venice from abroad? From Europe, you need to show a negative covid test (NAAT, RT-PCR, LAMP, TNA or rapid antigenic) even if you have been vaccinated, fill in the dPLF AND the form for the local health service. No quarantine is required if you comply to these rules. Besides, we suggest checking your country's official sites to learn in due time the requirements needed to return home from Italy.

From the USA, Canada, Japan and UAE covid-free flights are operating (also for tourism), whereas from other countries travelling is allowed for essential reasons and travellers from India, Brasil, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are subject to more restrictive measures to contain the virus spread.

Rules keep on changing, but we at Luxrest Venice constantly follow up! Get in touch for any further information and to let us help you plan your stay in Venice!
