Book your place at Redentore night and other special events in Venice in July
July in Venice keeps on offering plenty of unique and special events!
On 9th July, you can assist at a special concert by La Fenice orchestra and choir: Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, in the magical set of Saint-Mark's square. What could be more spectacular than that? The concert will take place at 9pm and it will be broadcasted live on Rai 5, but you can still buy your seat here! Please note that for security reason, access to Saint-Mark's square will be limited to the concert audience, residents and cafe's guests from 7:30pm.
If you're more keen on cinema, on the same 9th July the Biennale will celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Venice Film Festival with a special screening: you can have the chance to watch 2 original films from the 1st Edition of the Venice Film Festival in 1932: "Regen" by Mannus Franken and "Gli uomini, che mascalzoni" by Mario Camerini, at the Sala Grande on the Lido island. You can book your free seat here!
But of course, we're all counting the days to the main event in Venice in July: the Redentore night! On the 16th July, the magnificent fireworks on water will be fired from San Giorgio island, visible from the whole Saint-Mark's basin and the Giudecca canal. Bookings are now open, it's free of charge and you can reserve your place either in pedestrian or boat mode here!
