Venice boat show is back!

May is turning out to be a month full of news for Venice: in addition to the reopening (keep on checking our blog for the latest update) and the Architecture Biennale, from the 29th May to the 6th June 2021 the second edition of the Venice boat show will take place!

As the motto of the event says, "the art of shipbuilding is back home": the event will in fact take place at the Arsenale, the symbol of the “Serenissima” Republic power and military prowess, and heart of its naval industry.

It's a unique chance to enter and visit an incredible site, made of 50.000 sq. metres water basin, 30.000 sq. metres of outdoor exhibition area and 5.000 sq. metres of indoor pavilions completed with over 1.000 linear meters of water pontoons able to accommodate more than 150 boats. The whole, in a remarkable ensemble of historical brick buildings, showing us what the ancient industrial architecture looked like.

The entrance site is the Ships pavillon (close to the Arsenale water-bus stop), whereas the exit is at the Bacini (beside Bacini water-bus stop). A shuttle boat will link the Arsenale entrance with another entry site close to the Giardini stop. The full entrance ticket costs 15,00€, with reductions for families and for anyone holding a ticket for La Fenice or the Architecture Biennale. The ticketing service will open from the 10th May.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to visit such a magical place and check our accommodations which are so conveniently located to reach the Arsenale venue! Keep in touch!
