It was 1162, when the Doge Michiel II won the rebellion of the Patriarca Ulderico di Aquileia followed by twelve rebels lords.

During the Venice carnival, the traditional food as far as sweets are concerned are the frittelle, called in venetian also fritole or frìtoe. The frittelle have a story which began before the XIV century: get to know it and let your carnival in Venice will be even sweeter!
